Happiness how-tos

I'm Madeline, though friends call me Maddie and family call me Mimi (I've really been trying to get Mads to stick but it's been unsuccessful. I'll try anyway: call me Mads).

I'm a senior at George Washington University majoring in Political Communication in our School of Media and Public Affairs. I explain the major to people as a combination of studying politics and the media.

Hmmm. What else should you know about me? I've read four books on Frida Kahlo's life and work, so if you have any questions, let me know. I threw myself a garty (gay party--yes, I coined that myself) when I came out to my parents and my living room became the most beautiful rainbow filled room. My favorite book I've ever read is Catch-22.
